Data Analysis Resources

The University Flow Cytometry Resource (UFCR) offers two methods of access to the FlowJo data analysis platform for interpretation of compatible data files that may be recorded using any UFCR instrumentation. Due to the demand for cell analyzer time, we strongly encourage customers to perform data analysis offline.

FlowJo Portal License System

To increase accessibility and minimize the cost for FlowJo software analysis, the UFCR has created a FlowJo Portal license group. For approximately $20/month per license, FlowJo Portal users will be able to access the most up-to-date version of FlowJo on any internet-connected computer. Those interested in joining the Portal group should create a FlowJo Portal account and then submit an UFCR FlowJo Portal Purchase or Change Request form. FlowJo Portal accounts for this group must use a valid email account with @umn.edu as the domain. All new requests will be processed monthly on the first business day of the month. The cost will be prorated based on the remaining term of the annual license account, which renews in October. Additional information and instructions on creating a FlowJo Portal account and accessing the Portal can be found in the documents below or at the FlowJo Portal or FlowJo Portal Documentation websites.

FlowJo Hardware Dongle Lending

2 UFCR-owned FlowJo dongles, 1 each at MCRB and CCRB, are available for active UFCR customers to borrow at no charge for up to 5 business days. If you are interested in borrowing a dongle, please submit this form and the UFCR will contact you to arrange pick-up of the requested dongle. The borrower is responsible for returning the dongle when it is due during regular UFCR business hours (9AM-5PM). Damaged or lost dongles will incur a full replacement fee at the current academic purchase price.
